Meet Luidgi

I’m Luidgi Mary, a proud South Florida native, born at Jackson Memorial Hospital and raised in Miami-Dade. I’ve always believed public service starts with showing up, listening, and standing up when it counts. And right now, it counts more than ever.

I didn’t file to run just to stir the pot. I did it because I saw a city being pulled apart by politics, overdevelopment, and decisions made behind closed doors. At first, I just wanted to be part of the conversation. But what I saw made it impossible to stay quiet. The deeper I looked, the more I realized how much damage has been done and how badly we need change.

I’ve spent time working with the Miami Beach Police Athletic League through AmeriCorps, supporting community institutions like Mount Sinai, and listening to the people who keep this city running: residents, small business owners, public works employees, and public safety officers. I’ve heard your frustrations, your fears, and your hopes for what Miami Beach could be again.

I’m not a career politician. I don’t owe favors. And I’m not here to play games. I’m here to be a real partner to this community.

I know you’re used to polished politicians selling you empty promises. That’s not what I’m offering. As I knock on doors and meet with you, I want this campaign and this service to be something we build together. You, the people who live and work here, can help shape me into the kind of leader this city actually needs. I’ve got ideas, but they’ll only grow stronger with your voice behind them.

I want to fight for clean streets, preserved history, thriving schools, real public safety, and a local economy that puts residents first. I want to make it easier for people to stay in their homes, raise families, and invest in this community again. But most of all, I want to prove we can do it without playing by the broken rules of the political establishment.

Miami Beach deserves better, and I’m ready to give it everything I’ve got.

Let’s do this together.
